introduction to the subject

The following work arises from the need to reach certain theoretical conceptualizations about a practice that has been done in different areas:
The group music therapy, particularly in mental health work with serious psychotic and neurotic patients.
The group approach within the framework of hospital days used to observe the fact that a group of patients, convened a task (specific to each workshop) that connects them to their tastes, which link the expressive with therapeutic facilitates links between them (patients), and between them and the various actors (spaces, professionals, interns) that make up the device.
There are various modes of communication here, some characteristic of the disorder and others related to personal issues related to the particular history of each.
To observe the dynamics of work, the links are generated, the achievements of each patient and how does each group, can in turn see how the interdisciplinary team, as a fabric care, offering different venues targeting to trace something of the order of gusto.
Thus, integrated point in their work to improve the quality of life for themselves, strengthening their chances of recovery (based on the recognition of potentialities which are peculiar to each subject) in turn point to the resocialization of the patient by creating and strengthening ties with the outside world, represented by the Company, (Macro context) and family (micro context.)

This work consists of two parts:

Within the first moments are three stages referred to them through the group observed in music therapy workshop for over two years of observation.
In the second part of the thesis are developed conceptualizations for the analysis of musical sound phenomena in relation to how they will be taking place in different stages of the group observed.
