"Trends in Architecture? Morphogenesis

Man by nature has grouped together and everything he does. The membership is closely related to property and safety.

Being part of a group instantly makes you the owner of that thing they all have in common, if only an idea, a preference or the object of desire who diligently looking for individuals who are also part of the group.

finally ........................ belong to the elite.

occurs in the same architecture as the design of the line design, each architect explores. The famous "trend" which is the inclination to design a scheme that has been analyzed, studied, practiced and eventually is absorbed by groups of students of architecture. When you own this trend, the Architect automatically becomes part of a select box and protected by his group.

that do not mean the classification of bad ideas, bad or that this study architectural trends. I'm talking about is much easier to be part of something that already exists, to find freedom from "design patterns" developed by others that if they could expand their conceptual boundaries and ventured to do what they wanted. Their job after having studied, classified and tabulated, it became a trend and then .... reproduced.

The study of architecture is necessary to understand where we come from and where we go. Speaking of that type of study, it seems very important work has been done in the study of the architectural works of the masters of architecture worldwide.

I ask ....

Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskind, Tadao Ando, \u200b\u200bEnric Miralles, Steven Holl, Frank Gehry, Santiago Calatrava, Luis Barragan ... be designed around any particular trend? Or your projects are only the result of real analysis for each project based on personal biases regarding material specifications, knowledge of structures, user needs, their own ideas, feelings, solarium, etc. ...

Critical Regionalism, Art Deco, Minimalism, Deconstructivism, Post Modernism, etc.. ... Sign in these trends or pa nel ... what?

Let's keep working to free our minds ...

This is only a personal reflection, I share through this means looking for an echo in the group to which belong all those who learn this beautiful craft.

finish by quoting the master Luis Barragan, whose words speak for themselves ...

"Do not do what I did,

See what I saw."
